Oud (Arab lute)
Adel was born in Naplouse (Palestine) and studied at the Yarmouk university in Jordan. He took Oud classes with Mu’taz Bayati in Baghdad (Iraq). His solo career started while he was living in the Arab world and got even more important when he came to Europe in 1990. When he moved to London, he quickly became a brilliant oud player within the music world. Since 2000 he has been a resident of Lyon, France.

Working as a solist or with musicians coming from diverse ensembles, diverse cultures, his motto is: «Music is the path between different cultures, it builds bridges, not borders ». More than thirty countries have welcomed Adel for concerts, from the far East to Europe, from South Africa to the Middle East.
