Composer, pianist and multi-instrument musician, Serge also uses resources from electroacoustic music in his compositions, as well as a direct play (sampler, sound treatment, etc.). His musical vision is centered on today’s music, traditional music, transversality and the combination of various artistic practices.

Within the Tribu Hérisson collective, he plays and composes for the OGRE and Fanfare la Tulipe. He also is the co-founder of several projects, among which «Douze Poèmes Musicaux» (twelve musical poems) associated with the author and performer Patrick Dubost, and «Pl[a]in Sud» (straight South) with a guest oriental musician.

In parallel with stage music, he composes «acousmatic» pieces with a particular interest for sound poetry. He was part of the projects «écrits studio» (studio writings) and «duos électro-litteraires» (electo-litterary duos) with the writers Claude Seyve and Merete Stistrup.
His love for traditional music brought him to «l’ensemble médiéval Xeremia» (Xeremia medieval ensemble) with which he has been playing since 1997 in France and internationally (Lybia, Lebanon, Mauritania, USA, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Ireland, Uzbekistan, Algeria…).

Since 2005, he composes and plays with Ilimitrof Compagny (street theatre) on sino-French intercultural projects («quartiers de lune», quarter moon, and «quand la lune se lève», when the moon rises), born from two trips to China in Guiyang (2005) and Shanghai (2007) where he met different artists.
