Twelve musical poems
Contemporary jazz and musical poetry

Douze Poèmes Musicaux is labelled “sélection Printemps des Poètes”.
The « Douze Poèmes Musicaux » show brings together Patrick Dubost, music poet, and six musicians from Tribu Hérisson. It is as much a chaotic reading workshop as a sounding word concert.
The writer, poet and performer Patrick Dubost puts to pieces, shakes up, melts and recomposes language mechanics with a great thirst for details, bringing his tenderness to the words and to the world, oscillating between humor and a metaphysical quest.
His approach wanders between an attraction for extra-ordinary and a battle of senses, ways of communicating and a broad artistic range. This resonates with the collective “ l’Hirsute Urubu ” in a lively and ever creative music.
Playing on a wealth of tones, alternating between written and improvised pieces, a free, growing and parabolic music is born and brings to a new light each text.
The shared word touches, amuses, blooms in space and is read through love poems crafted by Armand The Poet himself.
Language sensitive musicians interacting with a writer of oral performances bring us to new poetic, odd, broad and captivating playgrounds.
